Our sophomore issue, Soft, is an offering—a space to honor the many ways Black women reclaim our womanhood, femininity, and the full range of our beauty, vulnerability, and power. Inside, you’ll find creative works that explore the many meanings of softness: how it lives in our bodies, shapes our relationships with ourselves and one another, and finds expression in our voices. Together, these works invite us to embrace softness not as weakness, but as a way of knowing, becoming, resisting, loving, and being fully ourselves.
